Idle Magic Shop / Privacy Policy

Privacy Policy

KrypticDynamics operates Idle Magic Shop and these information pages. This policy explains the current game's local saves, optional account and cloud features, and privacy choices. For questions or requests, email .

Effective

Local play and device storage

You can play without a cloud account. The game saves your shop on your device, including progress, production and inventory, upgrades, managers, orders, research, virtual currencies, themes, timers, and tutorial progress. Sound preferences are also stored locally. Local backup files help recover saves. Your device or operating system may separately back up app data under its own settings.

Optional accounts and cloud copies

If you choose cloud features, Unity Player Accounts handles sign-in through your browser. Unity processes the account information you provide, such as your email address and identifiers from a sign-in provider. The game uses an account identifier and authentication tokens to access your cloud copies; it does not put your account password in a shop save.

Signing in does not upload or restore a shop. When you explicitly upload, the full game snapshot is stored with Unity Cloud Save, together with your player identifier, a save label, save time, and integrity information. This includes the same progress and virtual items described above. Restoring a cloud copy requires your choice and replaces the current local shop after a local backup is made.

These saves use Unity's Default player-data access, rather than public player data. They are not published as profiles for other players. KrypticDynamics and authorized service providers may access data as needed to operate the service or handle a request. Unity's services also process technical data needed to provide them, including an IP address and account identifiers. The game does not initiate cloud sign-in automatically.

How we use information

We use this information to save and restore your shop, connect your chosen account across supported devices, protect account and save integrity, troubleshoot problems, and respond to support and privacy requests. If you email us, we receive your email address and the information you include. Please do not send passwords, authentication codes, or payment details.

Advertising, payments, and other features

The current build has no real-money purchasing or advertising integration. Gem bundles and ad-style reward buttons are clearly labelled previews: they do not charge you or show an advertisement. Gold, gems, and other virtual items are game progress, not money.

We have not added a gameplay analytics SDK or custom advertising tracking to this build. The game has no player chat and does not request your contacts or precise device location. This does not mean online service providers receive no technical data: account, cloud, and website requests necessarily involve service and network information.

Service providers and this website

Unity provides the account, authentication, and cloud-save services. Its handling of account and service data is explained in Unity's Game Player and App User Privacy Policy: Unity’s Game Player and App User Privacy Policy. Signing in with another provider also involves that provider's policies.

These pages are served through the website-hosting service. Loading a page sends the hosting infrastructure the technical request information needed to deliver it, including your IP address. If you follow an external link, the destination's privacy practices apply. Emailing our support address uses email providers to deliver and store the correspondence. Providers may process information in countries different from yours.

We do not sell your personal information or use it for targeted advertising. We share information with service providers for the functions described here, and may disclose it when required by applicable law.

Retention and security

Local saves remain on your device until they are replaced or removed; backups or operating-system copies may remain separately. Signing out, resetting the shop, or uninstalling the game does not request deletion of a cloud copy.

Cloud copies do not expire automatically in the current version. They are kept until replaced or removed following a verified deletion request. Support correspondence is kept as needed to handle your request and meet applicable legal obligations. Unity's separate account information is governed by its own retention practices. If a legal requirement prevents deletion of particular information, we will explain the reason and applicable retention unless the law prevents us from doing so.

Cloud transfers use Unity's encrypted network connections and authenticated access. We check save revisions before replacement to reduce accidental overwrites. Local game saves are not encrypted by the game; protect access to your device. No storage or transmission method can promise absolute security.

Your choices and deletion

You can continue playing locally without signing in, choose whether to upload or restore, and sign out of cloud features. To request access, correction, or deletion of your Idle Magic Shop account-related data and cloud saves, email . We may ask for information reasonably necessary to verify the account and prevent unauthorized access or deletion. We will handle requests in accordance with applicable law.

Full instructions: Account and data deletion

Deleting a Unity Player Account is a separate step and does not automatically delete Idle Magic Shop data. Unity provides account deletion at Unity’s account deletion page. For Unity Player Accounts access or other privacy requests, contact . You do not have to delete your wider Unity account to request deletion of this game's cloud data.

Children and changes

Idle Magic Shop is intended for a general audience and is not primarily directed at children. If you believe a child has provided personal information without permission required by applicable law, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action.

We will update this policy when our practices change and show the updated date. New payment, advertising, or data-collection features will require updated disclosures before they are introduced. Nothing in this policy removes privacy rights that apply where you live.
